I founded AiMH UK to create a mutually supportive environment for professionals with a shared concern for infants and their well-being to come together and learn from each other.Dilys Daws | Honorary Trustee and Founder
Joining AiMH UK and attending their national and regional events is a superb professional development opportunity for early years practitioners working in baby rooms across the country who might not see themselves as infant mental health workers. You are and AiMH UK would love to welcome you and the wealth of experience you have working with babies'Debbie Brace | Early Language and Behaviour Consultant
What a wonderful and deeply moving conference it has been. The presentations were stunning in their honesty and impact. And I thought the conference itself felt like a very warm, inclusive community coming together to think about babies and families.Peter Elfer | Early Childhood Teaching and Research
My role as President of AiMH UK for the past 10 years has brought me into contact with a wide range of practitioners (Baby & Early Years Practitioners, Health Visitors, Midwives, Paediatricians, Perinatal Nurses, Psychologists & Psychiatrists, Parent-Infant and Child Psychotherapists, Speech & Language & Occupational Therapists; Play & Creative Therapists; Children’s Social Workers) working tirelessly and with such skill to support the social and emotional development of babies. I very much hope that the resources that AiMH provides has supported them in this important workJane Barlow | President of AiMH and Professor of Evidence-Based Intervention, University of Oxford.
Since being a member for AIMH I have attended numerous events over the past few years. These events, conferences and workshops are always extremely accessible as I can attend from home and fit them around my working day. I have a much better understanding of infant mental health and the importance of early parent-infant relationships, which is always in the forefront of my work with familiesRoxanne Davies - Early Years Home Liaison Officer
