AiMH UK AGM, Awards and Launch of the new Best Practice Factsheet 2026

Wednesday 25 February at 11.30am  – 1.00pm ONLINE

Alongside the AGM, we will be:

  • Presenting the AiMH UK Awards

  • Launching our new Best Practice Factsheet – Supporting Neurodivergent Parents of Infants: What Works?, presented by Professor Jane Barlow.

Neurodivergence is a term used to describe natural differences in how people’s brains work. It includes conditions such as autism and ADHD, and can affect how people learn, pay attention, communicate, and interact with others. Research suggests that many parents are neurodivergent themselves, or have a family history of neurodivergence, although this varies between conditions. This Best Practice Guide looks at what current research tells us about the strengths and challenges neurodivergent parents may experience during pregnancy and the early months after birth. It also explores parent–infant relationships, the experiences of professionals supporting these parents, and what good, inclusive practice should look like.

This event is a great opportunity to reflect on the year, celebrate excellence across the sector, and share new guidance to support best practice.

Members and Non-Members are invited to attend and participate.

Details of the agenda and supporting papers will be circulated to members in due course.
