Debbie Brace has been commissioned as early language and behaviour consultant to work with families, schools and early years settings in the Hounslow borough for over a decade. Historically a qualified teacher with a degree in Drama, Debbie couples her more recent training in infant mental health with her colleagues expertise as a speech and language therapist. Together they co create and lead the ‘Let’s Talk Together’ (LTT) programme; promoting early language development within an attachment informed approach. With an MA (M9) specialising in the emotional development of infants from the Tavistock, she is a recent joint winner of The Louise Emanuel Essay Prize (2019), an award presented for an outstanding piece of writing in the area of Infant Mental Health. The founder of Baby Talk and Play, Debbie’s working approach with families and with early years education professionals, aims to be accessible and digestible for all.
