A presentation and discussion about this group work which aims to enhance the attunement and attachment between the parent and their infant and toddler, with a view to strengthening their relationship, and facilitating separation and individuation, so that the toddler can manage growing independence and prepare for nursery and school.

The FAN was developed by Linda Gilkerson, who we are delighted will be joining us to share the essence of the FAN technique. The FAN approach can be used by all professionals in the system around a baby: early years workers, parent-infant practitioners, health visitors, occupational therapists, nursery nurses, psychologists, medical and nursing practitioners and social workers.
